We are happy to inform you that on November 22nd 2024 NIA Librarian Sotiria Nikolou was invited on the radio broadcast “Libraries on FM” by the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists, in which she presented The Netherlands Institute at Athens and its’ Library.
It was a nice conversation between the NIA Librarian and Ms. Myrto Gkiouli, Member of AGLIS. Our Librarian referred on the history of NIA, how it functions, the collaboration with The Dutch Universities, its facilities, the lectures and the courses. In addition, our Librarian talked about the Library, the development of the library’s collection, the Troianos Collection, the opening hours, the publications of the NIA, and the future plans. In the end of the conversation, she shared with the audience the reasons that played significant role of her choice in becoming a librarian.
