Musical themes and instruments in the world of Hieronymus Bosch, diving into 15th century arts and culture in the Low Countries

In his lecture, dr. Kountouras addressed the symbolism of music in Bosch’s work and during his time, and the way in which the famous painter used musical instruments in his works.
By having a closer look at Bosch’ major works, the speaker gave us a fascinating interpretation of the musical themes and allegories through the perception of the arts and esthetics of Bosch’ era.
