4-5 Februari: Conferentie “Jewish Urban Landscapes in Mid-20th Century Europe”

It is with great pleasure that we announce the final program of the International two-days conference “Jewish Urban Landscapes in Mid-20th Century Europe” that will take place on 4-5 February.
The conference, with keynote lectures by Professor Michael Meng (Clemson University) and Professor Bart Wallet (University of Amsterdam), is organized in cooperation with the University of Amsterdam and the Workshop on the Study of the Jews in Greece and aims to shed light on what happened to Jewish sites and quarters in urban environments throughout the whole of Europe between 1930 and 1970, facilitating a knowledge exchange between scholars researching case studies across borders.

The conference will be live-streamed (click here for registration) and there will also be a limited number of seats available for the interested audience wishing to attend in person (for reservations please send an email, indicating which days/sessions you would like to attend).
