We are thrilled to inform you that on January 12th 2024 NIA-Director Prof. Dr. Ann Brysbaert and librarian Sotiria Nikolou were invited on the radio broadcast “Libraries on FM” by the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists, in which they presented The Netherlands Institute at Athens and its’ Library.
It was a nice conversation between the Vice President of AGLIS, Mrs Iro Tzorbatzaki and Mrs Mary Zekente, Member of AGLIS. Our Director referred on the history of NIA, how it functions, the collaboration with The Dutch Universities, its facilities, the lectures and the courses. In addition, our Librarian talked about the Library, the development of the library’s collection, the Troianos Collection, the opening hours, the publications of the NIA, the future plans and finally the new series of lectures named “Byzantine Talks NIA”.
