The X volume of the Publications of the Netherlands Institute at Athens, entitled NATURE AND HUMAN NATURE IN ANCIENT GREEK PHILOSOPHY AND ITS RECEPTION, and edited by Melina G. Mouzala, was published in November 2025.

The volume is the extract of the homonymous International Symposium that was held in October 2023 at the Netherlands Institute at Athens, co-organized by Emmy Mestropian-Makri and Melina G. Mouzala, under the auspices of the Netherlands Institute at Athens.

The volume includes papers that cover a large period in the History of Philosophy, beginning from Classical Antiquity (Plato and the Socratics), running through Late Antiquity (Middle Platonism, Galen, Alexander of Aphrodisias and the Peripatetic Tradition), and concluding with the Latin Patristic Tradition, Late Neoplatonism, and Byzantine thought (Simplicius, Philoponus,  Maximus the Confessor).

The publication is open access and available through the website of the publisher Sidestone Press.
