The Netherlands Institute at Athens in collaboration with the Nordic Library and the Finnish Institute at Athens are very pleased to invite you to the book presentation of ‘Making the Modern Turkish Citizen: Vernacular Photography in the Early Republican Era’, by the author Özge Calafato (University of Amsterdam). The event will be moderated by the NIA-Librarian, Ms. Sotiria Nikolou.

The book presentation -which is part of the NIA-Library’s activities- will be held

on Wednesday 22nd October 2025, at 18.00,
