Join us tomorrow night for our first on-line discussion in the framework of our new series on “Current Challenges in Cultural Management and Heritage Tourism” featuring researchers and practitioners presenting case studies and insights on current challenges in the fields of cultural management, museums, heritage and tourism.

The first discussion topic is “Crowdsourcing heritage and the interaction between museums and local communities” and will be held tomorrow,  Tuesday the 20th of April 2021 (15.00 – 16.30 CET). The discussion will be between Nicole Van Dijk, social anthropologist, curator of the Museum Rotterdam and Director of Stichting Wijkcollectie (District Heritage Foundation) who will reflect on the “Echt Rotterdams erfgoed” (Authentic Heritage of Rotterdam) initiative and Marlen Mouliou, Assistant Professor in Museology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens who will talk about the experience of “The Museum Inside Me” initiative. The discussion will be moderated by the director of the Netherlands Institute at Athens, Winfred Van de Put.
