Fieldwork and staying in Greece becomes more interesting when you are able to communicate with the locals. The intensive course Modern Greek I is for absolute beginners and gives you the tools to conduct a basic conversation in Greek: ordering food and drinks, doing groceries, telling people about yourself. The course leads to level A1. Greek II is the follow-up course and starts at level A1. It expands your vocabulary and gives a better understanding of grammar and allows you to understand and conduct conversations on more complex topics from daily life. The course leads to level A2. During the Greek IV course, grammar is consolidated and conversation skills expand as we discuss topics such as history, literature, politics and more. The course leads to level B2.
